Large-scale wind power in small projects
We develop wind projects in out-of-the-way locations around the Rocky Mountains that may
not currently have transmission by will eventually be important contributors to the local energy
supply.
Most wind developers want to construct large facilities immediately. They are in a flurry to find
windy locations using satellite maps. And they may attain wind leases from landowners in
ten locations but only construct a facility at one of them.
In contrast, we are more patient and humble: we develop smaller projects more gradually.
We also rely on local knowledge to investigate locations before we enter into lease
agreements. Finally, we do not intend to collect leases and develop only a few. Instead, we
are more careful in our selections and thus intend to develop all of our leases.
If you have a location that merits consideration, let us know. Even if we are not interested in
leasing your wind, we are happy to help you consider the steps that you should take.
